CHEER TRYOUTS ARE TOMORROW.

i think i’ll do pretty good. The cheer and chant are ones we used last year, so i’m pretty confident with that. I have both my splits that we need and i like my heel stretch even if it is with my bad leg. My jumps are pathetic and i know that. The motion drill we learned today was pretty easy, just high v, fight motion, low v, and so on. I’m worried about my back walkover, because i get it 9 out of 10 times and it scares me that i fail at it the actual time that it counts. Man, i hope i make varsity. Just for that moment where all the sophomore JV cheerleaders are wearing their uniforms to school on a Thursday and somebody asks me why i’m not wearing mine and i can just say, “Oh, i’m on Varsity cheer, i”m wearing my uniform tomorrow…” Plus the uniforms are sparkly. Whatever. At least i’ll have JV to fall back on since i was on the team last year and i don’t have to worry about not making the team at all. Wow i miss cheer practices. And I’m excited for the new season. And tryouts. That’s all.

I wish we said “fancy” in America. As in, “I fancy you.” It’s such a more agreeable term than “I have a crush on you.”  What’s a crush? Like, I AM A BOA CONSTRICTOR AND I AM GOING TO IMMOBILIZE YOU WITH MY MISPLACED AND OBSESSIVE AFFECTION.  “I fancy you” is like, you’re so shiny and glittery and I just want to put you on a shelf and look at you for a while ‘cause you’re fancy.
